Abstract
This fact sheet contains an overview of the state of recent developments in driver education in the United States. It outlines the importance of driver education as a key tool to help enhance driver safety. It also discusses recent developments in driver education across the US, such as the role of NHTSA in coordinating different state programs and the formation of ANSTSE in 2010.
