Abstract
This booklet of facts published by NHTSA describes motor vehicle occupant protection strategies pertaining to children, youth, and adult drivers/passengers. NHTSA updates and releases this document regularly to support efforts to improve legislation, enforcement, and safety standards for motor vehicles, as well as provide evidence-based information about occupant protection. It contains facts about occupant protection as well as information about self-reported behaviors among drivers.
