Abstract
This factsheet describes potential driver distractions inside and outside of a vehicle. It covers topics such as electronic-based distractions like cellphones and tablets, pets in the vehicle, eating and drinking, smoking, as well as road construction and other events outside of the vehicle. The factsheet describes how all drivers are suspectible to distraction, but acknowledges young drivers are particularly suspectible to some of the distractions mentioned such as cellphone use.
