Abstract
This factsheet summarizes information presented in the ADTSEA Curriculum version 2.0 and the AAMVA Model Driver Manual. It describes the importance of proper seat belt use while in a moving vehicle. It outlines the role of the seat belt, how the seat belt can help minimize the impacts of collisions, as well as discussing reasons why some individuals choose not to wear a seat belt and demonstrates the faults in those reasons.
