Abstract
This factsheet describes different steering techniques to control vehicle direction. It describes the role of the steering wheel, proper hand position, as well as information about different types of steering techniques such as hand-to-hand steering and hand-over-hand steering. Notably, it also discusses one-handed steering, advocating this technique is appropriate while backing up but not while traveling forward at full speed.
