Abstract
This factsheet summarizes information presented in the ADTSEA Curriculum version 2.0 and the AAMVA Model Driver Manual. It describes the importance of perception in the driving task and the need for continued visual scanning of the roadway. Notably, it outlines the need to look ahead while driving and adjusting speed to incoming obstructions such as roadway collisions.
