Abstract
This factsheet summarizes information presented in the ADTSEA Curriculum version 2.0 and the AAMVA Model Driver Manual. It describes how work zones on roadways can impact driving. Work zones are zones where roadway maintenance and work is underway. They can occur on residential roadways or highways, and impede the flow of traffic. This factsheet outlines strategies to manage safely around work zones, such as reducing speed and remaining focused on the driving task.
