Abstract
This document contains the technical assistance report by ANSTSE for the State of Maryland. The onsite Technical Assistance visit was conducted on August 8-10 2010. This report details the findings of that visit. Major findings were: establish an advisory board of stakeholders that has input on the implementation, monitoring, evaluation and enforcement of the Maryland driver education program; establish a statewide review committee made up of content specialists, teachers and other qualified persons to compare the curriculum and approved textbooks with the American Driver Traffic Safety Education Association standards; and increase the advanced instructor training to at least 120 hours.
