Abstract
This is the final evaluation report describing the effectiveness of a DUI court program aimed at reducing repeat alcohol-related traffic offenses among impaired drivers. The evaluation involved a descriptive and quantitative analysis of the program, and an impact evaluation of the effect of the program on alcohol-related traffic law conviction recidivism among randomly-assigned offenders to the DUI court program and the standard probation program in the county. The results demonstrated the DUI court was effective in reducing the recidivism among repeat offenders. The study also showed the DUI court program was more effective in reducing recidivism than the standard probation program in the country for the target group of offenders.
