Literature review and analysis of state laws.
Abstract
This document contains an overview of State laws that address driving under the influence of drugs (DUID). It includes all 50 States, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. Summaries of State laws described in each section focus on basic drugged driving provisions, provisions of laws pertaining to chemical testing, and marijuana possession and use laws. The authors also provided citations for each of the State laws to enable readers to locate the original source of the information.
